Who needs to register for the 2020-2021 school year?

Every student needs to be registered this year.

Registration Requirements

Determine which group below applies to your student then click on the link(s) in the table below to obtain applicable forms and complete the registration process.

Returning Students to Muirlands should complete only Section A of the form below. These students finished their 6th or 7th grade school year at Muirlands in June 2020.

Students from one of the 3 La Jolla Elementary Schools (Bird Rock, La Jolla, Torrey Pines) should complete Sections A and B of the form below. These students attended and ended their 5th grade school year at Bird Rock, La Jolla or Torrey Pines Elementary Schools in June 2020.

New Students (that did not attend Muirlands) should complete Sections A, B and C of the form below. These students may be:

  • new to the District,
  • new to the La Jolla area,
  • transferring from a private, public or charter school,
  • or a Choice/VEEP student.

Before starting the online registration questions below, please:

Please allow up to 60 minutes to complete the process. The online form will NOT save your information until you press "Submit" at the end of the form; you CANNOT save and return later.

  SECTION B - BRE, LJES, TPE and New Students (Complete Section A and B)
Verification of Residency 
To attend Muirlands Middle School, a parent must provide proof their student resides within the La Jolla Cluster Boundary or be an approved Choice student. Valid proof of residency includes one of the following: SDG&E Service Verification letter (available from SDG&E) or current SDG&E Bill, City of San Diego Water Bill, Lease Agreement showing parent/guardian name and residential address, or Verification of Address form.

  Copy of IEP / 504, if applicable
