The role of the Site Governance Team is to provide a forum for examination of issues relating to Muirlands Middle School. The development, implementation, and evaluation of programs and policies of Muirlands Middle School fall within the purview of the Governance Team. Meetings are typically held the first Thursday of every month during the school year at 1:30 p.m.

School Site Council: The Muirlands SSC is a decision-making group that provides oversight on matters dealing with federally- and state-funded programs: Economic Impact Aid-State Compensatory Education, Economic Impact Aid-Limited English Proficient, Title I, Title I Parent Involvement and Quality Education Investment Act programs.
