ARCHIVED INSTRUCTIONS FOR 2020-2021 Yearbook!

*** We cannot publish any photo of your student until we have received your Universal Form with the appropriate permission ***

To all students (and parents),
The Yearbook Staff needs your help this year. Because we won't have school pictures taken by a professional photographer at Muirlands in time for the 20-21 Muirlands yearbook, we are asking YOU to submit a portrait.

Please refer to instructions from your 4th period teacher for teacher specific timelines.

Before submitting your portrait, find or take a High Resolution portrait following these directions:

● Photo must show head and shoulders of just you.
● You must be facing the camera with your full face in view, and centered in the frame. No side profiles.
● Choose a fun and clear background that highlights you.
● Do not include hand gestures of any kind.
● Do not include sunglasses, or anything else that obstructs the view of your face. Exception: items used for religious purposes.
● Avoid odd shadows over your face and find good lighting. The light should be in front of you, not behind.

Correct Portrait

If you scan an existing portrait, make sure to use a resolution of at least 300 dpi.

Make sure your portrait is saved in jpg format and is labeled with your grade, last name, first name separated by _ (for example 6_Doe_John.jpg)

Then fill in THIS GOOGLE FORM to upload your portrait. Only use this form to upload Student PORTRAITS. You can upload Candid Photos that might be included in the yearbook by using these instructions.
